'We were looking for a quick but reasonably substantial lunchtime meal near Norwood Park Golf Course, because we'd booked an early afternoon tee time and didn't want to be hungry half way round, or late for our start time. Pre-ordering our food (by telephoning Gayle on 01636 830251 at about 9.30 that morning) and making use of our 2 for 1 Voucher, we were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. The Full Moon has a really pretty location and was ideal as we were passing by on Fiskerton Road after I'd picked up the others in Bingham. Along with the other diners we overheard at the bar, we noticed that the mouth-watering choices on the Daily Specials board included favourites such as Sticky Toffee Pudding - if only we'd allowed ourselves more time! However, we had to content ourselves with our Beef Bourguignon, which was served to our table promptly and as promised looked freshly made. The rice was presented in the centre of the large dinner sized dishes with the beef around it and the taste was surprisingly tangy, with a tomato flavour that was an interesting twist on a traditional recipe. The quantity of food was enough to be satisfying but without making us feel 'full to the brim' which was ideal as we had an afternoon's fresh air to contemplate. Overall, an excellent choice for a lunchtime bite to eat, particularly great value with the voucher, the type of place to meet an old friend or take your parents.'
